**Senior Fitter**
**Permanent Position**
**Competitive Salary + Overtime Opportunities**
**Monday - Thursday 7am-4pm Friday 7am-1pm**
**Based Near Long Eaton**
**Senior Fitter**
- Fitting and assembling machinery according to engineering drawings and instructions within required timescales.
- Using tool room machinery and plasma cutting machines when required.
- Assist loading/unloading machines, raw material and fabrications.
- Following health and safety guidelines
- Work on disassembly, refurbishment and reassembly of used machinery
- Organising replacements for personal protective equipment when required
- Painting parts and assemblies when required after appropriate training
- Driving forklifts when required (dependant on if certificate is obtained)
- Identifying opportunities for improvement of job methods or machine functions.

**Senior Fitter**
**Essential Skills/Experience/Qualification Required**:

- Previous experience with complex assembly production environment
- Use of basic tool room equipment including hand tools, laith, press brake, gantry crane etc
- Strong communication skills

**Senior Fitter**
**Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualification Required**:

- Experience fitting CNC Machinery
