**Supported Living Deputy Manager**

**Description.**

Location; Birmingham

Salary; Up to £30,000

Full-time position.

Monday - Friday.

8-hour shifts.

In this role as a Deputy Manager, you will be supporting the registered manager with day-to-day tasks to ensure the home runs smoothly. These tasks will include the payroll process and help with any duties that may need assistance within the home. This personmust be a hardworking individual with the drive to help others. **Key Responsibilities**
- Assist the Manager in keeping all Logs and Matrices updated.
- Participate in the company’s on call management rota system to ensure that

there is always on-call cover to manage emergencies.
- In the Manager’s absence ensure the allocated budget is adhered to, informing.

the Area Manager, Operations Manager and Director of any identified issues and potential need for variations.
- Working with the Manager and training coordinator to ensure all new and

existing staff are fully compliant before their first shift and that training is

updated for all staff throughout their employment in line with compliance

requirements.

**Key requirements**
- Previous experience of leading a team in a supervisory role which involved supporting people with learning disabilities, autism and behaviours that challenge.
- Full UK driving license with access to a vehicle.
- Expected to have or be willing to work towards and complete Level 3 and above Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Understanding of the needs of people with a learning disability, mental illness, and other complex needs
