Clinical/counselling Psychologist

We are looking to recruit a Clinical/ Counselling Psychologist to our Secondary Care & Inpatient Psychology service. The adult mental health Inpatient Psychology service provides psychology input into the three acute adult mental health wards at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, Larbert.

**The post holder will provide**: highly specialist psychological assessment and intervention to adults who are receiving inpatient admissions in the acute mental health wards; supervision and/or consultancy of qualified staff; multi-disciplinary working, strategic leadership in service development and improvement; opportunities to deputise for the Consultant Clinical Psychologist.

The role covers the whole of Forth Valley but will be based at the Mental Health Unit, Forth Valley Royal Hospital. We have made excellent use of technology options, but some limited travel may be required. The beautiful scenery of the area often makes this a perk of the job
