Childcare Practitioner

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our team, You will be caring for children from primary 1 to primary 7

Required skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, colleagues and parents/carers
- Ability to use initiative
- Patient and Caring
- Planning and undertaking a variety of fun activities with the children
- To provide a safe environment for all children in our care
- Good Time Keeping and Attendance
- Reliable and Trustworthy

Job hours - Term time 2:45pm - 6pm (Monday to Friday)

Holiday club shifts - Different shifts between the times of 7:45am - 6pm (During Easter, Summer and October week)

Qualifications
- SVQ Level 3 in Playwork/ SVQF Level 7/ HNC in childhood practice or equivalent Or would be willing to undertake the relevant qualification

The job will require you to have a Protection of vulnerable groups certificate (PVG) Which will be applied for or updated before starting

You must get registered with the Scottish social services Council (SSSC)

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: £10.00-£11.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
