An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and organised Band 4 Dietetic Assistant Practitioner to join the Public Health/Weight Management team within the Powys Teaching Health Board Dietetic Department.

While the role will involve travel across Powys to deliver group education, clinics etc, the successful applicant will be based at Bronllys Hospital with the opportunity for partial home working.

Weight Management Role

Responsible for delivering elements of the Level 1 and 2 weight management services across Powys. This will involve maintaining a caseload of clients, undertaking individual assessments, agreeing and reviewing treatment plans and delivering group programmes both virtually and in person.

Public Health Role

Will support the Public Health Dietetic Team's workplan including providing education and resources to staff and community groups, contributing to nutrition-related projects and policies, developing resources and webinars for nutrition and health campaigns, and developing links/working with partner organisations across Powys.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
