Warehouse Senior Supervisor

My client is leading distributor of fresh fruits and vegetables, specializing in the storage, handling, and distribution of perishable produce. Their mission is to provide high-quality products and exceptional service to their customers while promoting sustainability and ethical practices.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Supervisor to join their team in the Fruit & Veg Warehouse department. The Senior Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including supervising a team of warehouse staff, ensuring safety protocols are followed, maintaining inventory accuracy, and maximizing efficiency.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage a team of warehouse staff to ensure daily operations are carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Oversee the receiving, storing, and shipping of fresh produce to ensure quality standards are met and maintained.
- Ensure that safety protocols are followed at all times, including compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization, equipment utilization, and labor efficiency.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance warehouse efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with other departments, including Sales and Logistics, to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment
- Undertaking staff inductions, identify training needs and maintain accurate records.

**HOURS**

**Mon to Fri, 5 days out of 7, occasional weekends.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £13.00-£14.50 per hour
