We are looking to recruit a Secretary to join our Admin Team on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave. This role can be full or part time, and days can be negotiated following a successful interview.

**Role Description**
The main responsibilities of the post-holder will be to support the clinical team using the Practice computer system. We are ideally looking for someone who has office environment experience, or has Secretary experience. Full training is given.
This role is based across three sites so being able to drive and access to a vehicle is essential.
**Main Duties/Key Tasks**:
- Processing of ERS (E-Referral System), Medical System tasks, Referrals, Advice and Guidance requests, Sick Notes
- To ensure that letters and reports are produced in a professional and timely manner for Doctors and Practice Nurses.
- Typing and processing letters from dictation, tasks, and forms.
- To act as liaison between medical practitioners, patients and hospitals.
- Processing and photocopying of medical record requests (SARs) from patients and external agencies.
- Sorting and franking of all letters to take to post box.
- Attend Practice/Team meetings when required.
- To stay up to date with any mandatory training and attend/undertake any relevant training as directed by the Team Manager.

**Experience**
- Experience of SystmOne clinical system (desirable)
- Secretarial experience OR experience of working in an office or related environment
- Primary Care or NHS Experience (desirable)
**Skills and Knowledge**
- Excellent keyboard and computer skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Medical Terminology (desirable)
- RSA Stage 1, 2 & audiotyping (desirable)
