We are looking for a passionate Deli Supervisor to be an integral part of the store’s management team. A senior role within the Food Hall in terms of leadership, training and communication. You will develop the range for Deli and Rosebourne Kitchen categories whilst managing our fresh quality artisanal foods.

**Working as our Deli Supervisor, your duties will include**:
- Demonstrating capability as an effective team leader in a fresh food retail environment.
- Training colleagues on equipment handling, product knowledge, scales, stock quality, rotation and excellent customer service.
- Having strong demonstratable knowledge of food safety.
- Interacting with customers throughout the store, aiming to satisfy and exceed their needs and expectations.
- Having a good understanding of gross margin targets and the daily / weekly performance against these targets as an action plan for dealing with shortfalls.
- Setting standards on opening, operating, maintaining, cleaning and closing down the deli counters and multi deck areas on a day to day basis in a safe consistent manner.
- Leading standards of team presentation, productivity and effective team working. Communicating with other departments and To generating new and innovative ideas to enhance and improve our offering.
- Commercial awareness, numeracy skills and experience of working in a target lead environment, delivering to KPI’s.
- Building and maintaining excellent working relationships with internal and external contacts.
- Ensuring that sampling is offered at all times as a way of promoting seasonal lines and to help reduce stock levels as well as to cross-promote other products.
- Ensuring that baskets and trolleys are in position and the department is running smoothly.
