**Senior RGN - Critical Care / ITU Nurse
Nottingham
£30,000 - £37,000 band 5/6 equivalent**

We are recruiting for a Critical Care Nurse for a hospital in Nottingham rated outstanding and winner of best workplace.

In this role you will be expected to work on the multi-disciplinary HDU/ ITU unit covering a wide variety of clinical specialities high intensity 1-1 nursing on a small critical care unit.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- To deliver high standards of quality care by assessment at all times, evaluation and implementation of patient needs and guide others in this process.
- You will also be expected to participate through mentorship in the orientation and development of junior staff.
- You will directly line manage a team of HCA's delivering their appraisals and setting their objectives as per hospital policy.
- You will also need to work with the Critical Care management team to improve nursing standards by providing support for competency assessments and practical training.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Current experience in critical care/ ICU or acute care experience
- Active NMC - RN/ RGN
- Critical care qualification IDEAL

This is a full time vacancy (37.5 hours) covering the rota, Salary will be band 5/6 equivalent DOE + excellent benefits package
