**About us**:We are a visionary, forward-thinking and progressive GP practice in the Lake District looking to recruit a receptionist / care navigator to join our team.

An opportunity has arisen to join our friendly and innovative practice, based in the new Cockermouth Community Hospital and Health Centre. As front line support the post holder will direct patient and visitor enquiries to the most appropriate source and deal with potential difficult situations within their remit. Working in an efficient manner the post holder is expected to undertake a variety of tasks using their skills and knowledge.

Previous experience of working within the NHS and customer care is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.

To project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors and deal with queries in a professional, courteous and efficient way.

As front line support the post holder will direct patient and visitor enquiries to the most appropriate source and deal with potential difficult situations within their remit.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: £16,155.00-£20,161.00 per year
