Purpose of Role: The Weir Group are looking for an experienced Head of IS&T Delivery to join the IS&T Core Services team to deliver and manage a suite of common processes and services for Enterprise Systems, based upon the ITIL framework. The IS&T Core Services team aims to deliver a stable and highly reliable suite of core technology services across The Weir Group.

Within IS&T Core Services the service delivery function is responsible for:

- Effectively managing direct and indirect resources to ensure the IS&T Core Services internal and external business projects are delivered on time and within budget, with the perceived business and financial benefits.
- Management of the relationship between Divisional IS&T leads, business representatives (especially business Subject Matter Experts)
- Oversee the successful transition of service into the live environment without service impact or degradation of service.

This role is critical to the Core Services function, as the Head of Service Delivery will be accountable for the delivery of technology service improvement and business projects. Reporting directly to the Core Services Director, the role will play a key part in making sure that future deliveries are in line with IS&T Core Services standards and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work with IS&T Core Services platform owners, Service Managers and IS&T PMO to collate anticipated, and prioritise, business project demand volumes and use this information to plan and agree a portfolio of project activity on a short-, medium
- and long-term basis.
- Lead, motivate, develop and manage IS&T Core Services Project Managers so that their individual and collective performance is of the required standard and meets the current and future needs of the business.
- Accountable for the successful delivery and oversight of all internal and external project outcomes.
- Provide the IS&T Core Services Director and relevant stakeholders with financial information for the cost of implementing (including service requests) and changes and to predict future expected ongoing costs from the resulting change.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

- Ideally have held a senior IT management role and be able to demonstrate strong track record for delivering change and positive outcomes within a complex IT environment with experience working within at least two of the following regions/countries: UK/US and APAC.
- Demonstrable project management experience.
- Strong influencing skills and ability to work with stakeholders positively and sensitively
