Pertemps Recruitment agency has partnered with a leading online digital marketplace, this firm is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst (Marketing Data Analyst) to join their team in London.
This is a full-time, permanent role - paying between £50,000- £55,000 per annum
**Your Role**
- BI + Marketing _
Working with our Head of Marketing, to evaluate the success of marketing initiatives and identify opportunities for the marketing team to explore.
BI + Expansion
Provide the insight that will help our expansion teams identify the most fertile markets. Mentor our operations analysts to help them better utilise the data available to them from their local market operations.
**Key responsibilities**:

- Product growth analysis:_
- Understand user behaviours, trends and website environment
- Support identifying opportunities that can impact our primary metrics
- Marketing growth analysis:_
- Work closely with the marketing team (SEM, SEO and CRM) to help them to make data-driven decisions
- Gather information and examining buying trends to help develop successful marketing plans
- Develop attribution models to identify which channels are contributing to user growth and retention
- Analyse marketing performance to maximize its effectiveness and optimize return on investment
- Data analytics leadership:_
- Influence stakeholders via the presentation of data-based recommendations
- Communicate insights and experiment results to the business and product teams
- Spread best practices for growth to drive impact
- Present and simplify concepts based on the audience

**Required skills and experience**:

- Essential_
- Track record of informing data-driven decisions
- 2+ years experience working with product, tech, marketing &/or sales teams
- Intermediate to advanced SQL
- 2+ years experience with Google Analytics for marketing/product optimisation (segments and funnels). Experience extracting and using Google Analytics data from Google BigQuery.
- Experience using data visualisation tools such as Google Data Studio, Tableau or Power Bi
- Desired_
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering, Statistics or other technical field or 3+ years of equivalent technical work experience
- Experience with programming languages R/Python.
