Zenith People are looking to recruit a Logistics Graduate to work at its client site in Washington. The role is to perform an integral role within the Production control and Logistic(PC+L) team supporting Customer and service part requirements, completing SAP master data reviews, controlling and improving inbound and outbound materials flows to achieve Plant targets and budgets.

The role will be a two year graduate placement starting in September

**Principal Accountabilities**
- Customer Contact for all enquiries
- Complete a four way goods in booking process
- VIM completion and investigation
- Update and maintain Departmental KPI’s as per instruction
- Support the inventory cycle count process and analysis
- Complete all inventory investigations required after cycle counts
- Maintain Master SAP packaging data
- Ordering of re
- useable packaging and consumables upon request
- Support with transport requirements
- Complete Plant stock take activities (mandatory)
- Champion 5S and complete weekly audits
- Control the flow of returnable packaging to and from suppliers
- Create transport schedules and liaise with logistics providers
- Procure raw materials in line with demand and respond proactively to supply issues
- Provide management information on potential material shortages
- Monitor supplier delivery performance daily and communication non conformances to suppliers as required
- Input supplier delivery performance data into Vendor Rating system
- Liaise closely with Material handling to achieve optimum goods in scheduling
- Provide input into inventory reductions plans
- Champion the PC&L improvement ideas process
- During the pursuit of all duties the Code of Ethics and Code of Management will be always adhered to
- Working time will mainly be split between Despatch and Materials Scheduling, as well as Cycle Counts/stock investigations.
- Further key work will be driven by site projects/exercises including upcoming projects around returnable packaging, SAP training roll out with Production, new part manufacturing/new customers, expansion, etc.
- Will become a SAP expert and work with production - coaching and training to ensure SAP is central and taken seriously by all.

- A graduate - logistics and business management would be preferred

**Job Types**: Full-time, Graduate

**Salary**: £23,000.00 per year
