Syntech Recruitment are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated HyperMill Programmer for our client based in County Cork, Rep of Ireland. To be considered for this position you will need to have demonstrable experience in several key areas including CAM (HyperMill),quality, cost, and delivery. In this role, you will take responsibility and technical leadership for part reviews on NPI programs including DfM, DfA & PPAP or other industry equivalents, as well as offering guidance on technical issues and best practices to the team.
To be successful in this role, you must be proficient in LEAN and Six Sigma tools as you may take the lead in establishing and delivering processes into the manufacturing environment through effective selection of suitable technology and methods focused onQuality, Cost, and Delivery.

Medium term you will also guide members of the team in their projects and assist (if necessary) in the selection of manufacturing techniques and processing. You will be a 'body of knowledge that other engineers can ask for advice when problems arise in theproduction of parts.
**Key Experience**
- BSc Degree (vocational, professional, or advanced) or equivalent in the field of Mechanical/Production/Manufacturing Engineering.
- Extensive knowledge in DFM, PPAP, APQP methodologies, Lean methodologies.
- Proven specific capabilities in CNC programming using 3D CAD/CAM,- HyperMill is ESSENTIAL
- Post processor management
- Knowledge and exposure to the following processes would be beneficial:

- Milling (3, 4 & 5 Axis)
- Turning (Conventional, Mill / Turn & Swiss)
- Inspection
- GD&T
- Product / Process Costing / Estimating
