Gym Instructor

We are looking for an experienced Personal Trainer/ Gym Instructor to join our team. We have recently refurbished our gym and have state of the art gym equipment.
- To carry out the role of Fitness Instructor.
- To ensure presentation and cleanliness of the facilities.
- Ensuring that high levels of customer service and adopted at all times.

This will include:

- Completing all inductions, fitness assessments and programme prescriptions in a professional manner.
- To supervise and motivate all fitness facility customers.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge, keeping abreast of new trends within the industry.
- To perform any other duties as directed by Management.
- Contribute to programming and general operation of the facilities through ideas and support.
- To complete all cleaning schedules with records kept up to date.
- Ensuring maintenance checks are done and records kept up to date in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations.
- To complete all Pool tests as per company guidelines.
- To carry out gym team lead classes and others as requested by management.
- To maintain the safety and well-being of customers using the facilities.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Attend interactive instructor update sessions on a regular basis.
- Maintain the highest standards of service, presentation and professional advice offered to customers using the fitness facilities.

The role will be full time over 5 out of 7 days, and evening and weekends will be required regularly.

Salary to be discussed at interview plus commission structure.

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Sports & Fitness Instructors: 1 year (preferred)
- Personal Training: 1 year (preferred)
