Reebok Planner

**Overview**:
This new role will specifically take responsibility for managing the demand for our Reebok-licensed business and will be a hybrid of:

- A typical Merchandising role, working closely with the Buyers responsible for the Reebok brand for JD Chain
- Translating this requirement into production demand & placing this demand within the Reebok supply chain for JD Chain
- Seasonal & monthly forecasting requirements across all the fascias in the JD Group European business
- Samples management across the JD Group European business.

**Planning (existing role Merchandiser)**:

- With the Reebok Buyer review previous season and capture lessons learned
- With the Reebok Buyer create the strategy for the department and present
- Quarterly plan at Category/Season level with the Buyer to submit a plan on the System that reflects the best possible mix of products to deliver the KPI’s
- Attend selection/pre-selection meetings with the Buyer and Reebok
- Plan the pre-scheduling to meet the range plan - in conjunction with Assistant Merchandisers
- Reconcile then buy to the planned Buy

**Trading (existing role Merchandiser)**:

- Review weekly trading performance of Reebok and achieved KPI’s, identifying Issues and the course of action in preparation for the weekly trading meetings
- Propose and agree actions to recover risk and maximise opportunities with the Reebok Buyer at category and line level.
- Monthly - Capture all agreed actions in the monthly forecast reviews

**JD Group (across all fascia in Europe) forecasting & sample ordering (new)**:

- Capture & consolidate seasonal buy forecast across all European fascia (JD, Size?, ISRG, MIG, Cosmos) at regular intervals ahead of the seasonal and at increasingly levels of granularity (month, sizing etc)
- Provide consolidated forecast reporting to JD Group management and Reebok management
- Post brand review, working with buying team to agree on samples required across the European fascias
- Track samples into JD offices, split across fascias and arrange distribution onwards to fascia Buying teams. Manage samples budget sand allocation to fascias

**JD Chain (UK & Europe) - Purchase Order placement (new)**:

- Translate the buy forecast into production requirements (including ex-factory dates), based on agreed production & transportation lead times
- Supervise purchase orders into Reebok systems (NuOrder)
- Review feedback from Reebok on the agreed production schedule and make adjustments accordingly (cancel, replace, pull forward, push out)
- Communicate with Merchandising / Buying team, for any changes required
- Work closely with the Inbound Planning team, handing over the baton but maintaining involvement in reviewing availability dates.
