Sub Agent

Our client has a long and successful track record in building and upgrading highways and major roads through its work with National Highways and various local authorities. This includes building and upgrading motorways and arterial roads, carrying out complex junction improvements, constructing bridges, and improving local networks for drivers and pedestrians. They're currently looking for a permanent Sub Agent - Drainage for a highway improvement project based near Solihull.

**The role**:

- You will be the Sub Agent / Section Engineer for the construction of the drainage system
site-wide based onsite in Solihull.
- You will be responsible for establishing compounds,
- implementing temporary works solutions and completing surveys,
- constructing piped drainage systems,
- constructing attenuation tanks and ponds and installing pumping stations
- commissioning and testing the networks.

You will be supported by the Agent (among others). You are expected to take ownership of the works, leading the detailed planning and ensuring that the works are constructed by the design and contract scopes.

**Required Qualifications & Skills**
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with diverse audiences.
- Knowledge and understanding of engineering principles and common construction methodologies.
- Digital competence (MS Office, document control systems, site digital tools)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £38,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
