**GMP & De-Risking Data Team - Technical Lead**

- You will be involved in the development of the team’s long term data strategy, which will include the expansion of our new Data Management Platform, offering excellent long term career development opportunities
- This is a varied role where each day will be different. You will be working with a wide range of internal stakeholders including GMP Admin teams, De-Risking teams, Actuarial teams, Risk Transfer Group, Consultants and Project Managers.

**We will count on you to**:

- Input on the future development and design of our Data Management Platform
- Liaise with our external partner on any design requirements / development testing for the Data Management Platform
- Help to streamline and refine our processes processes and tools, adding controls and ensuring that documentation requirements for audit purposes are met.
- Draft / review / workshop process maps, guidance material, control workbooks, training & materials to support the GMP and De-risking teams.
- Prepare and run training sessions for new or updated processes, tools and/or functionality.
- Trouble-shooting to support the teams on live cases.
- Design and document process variances for non-standard scenarios.
- Testing of new tools and functionality
- Design and implementation of processes and controls for crossover projects where both GMPE and De-risking activity is planned
- Potential for involvement to support on bespoke cases managed outside of the Data Management Platform (the exception).
- Demonstrate a strong financial awareness, particularly around time recording and project budget management.

**What you need to have**:

- Strong Data Analytical skills, working with large data sets
- Good Excel skills, tools and formulae
- Excellent communication skills

**What makes you stand out**:

- Training experience within GMP
- Experience within pension De-risking
- Pensions qualifications such as PMI exams or part qual actuarial exams.
