Restaurant Hjem is located at The Hadrian Hotel in the small village of Wall in the beautiful Northumberland countryside. Hjem (pronounced "yem") is both a Northumbrian and Scandinavian word for "home", making it an apt name for the restaurant which sees the very best produce of Northumberland come together with Scandinavian values and cooking techniques.

The restaurant was awarded a Michelin star in 2021 and we're looking for someone who is passionate about great food, beverage and service to join us for our next chapter.

Whilst some experience in hospitality is desired, a positive attitude, a love of what you do and the ability to excel in a team environment are all much more valuable to us - training can be given on the job.

You would be working in our small, friendly breakfast team - serving Hjem guests their breakfast the following morning in our bar next door at The Hadrian Hotel. This is a part time position, mainly Saturday and Sunday mornings.

Saturday: 6am-3pm, Sunday: 6am-11am (extra shifts possibly available)

On a Saturday, you will be required to assist the housekeeping team (who also serve breakfast) in some cleaning and housekeeping in the hotel above the restaurant.
