**Expertise Needed**:Visibly Impaired Assistance, Dementia Care & Catheter Care

We a looking for an experienced carer to support a gentleman with -20% sight, catheter and early onset dementia. He has a passion for the horse industry and likes to get out and about doing activities.

It takes a special kind of person to be a carer and a good private carer is someone who truly cares about others and is not just earning a living.

This is a special job, and it needs special people to do it. Finding out what a typical carer role is like can’t easily be written down, there is no ‘average’ day.

**Responsibilities**:

- Companionship - sharing conversation and spending time together
- Attending events & travelling outside of the UK on holidays and business trips
- Personal care - assisting with bathing, dressing, and when necessary, continence support
- Helping with mobility
- Overseeing medication
- Preparing and cooking meals
- Running errands - assisting with tasks such as shopping or picking up prescriptions
- Catheter care
- Work as a team with another live in carer and a cleaner

**Specifications**:

- Experience in Visibly Impaired Assistance
- Experience in Dementia Care
- Experience in Catheter Care
- Predominantly Day Shifts (with 1-2 Hours Evening Work)
- Full Clean Driving License
- Valid passport and able to travel outside of the UK (USA inclusive)

**Perks**:

This is a live-in role with a private apartment provided.

**Salary**: £35,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
