Refuge Worker

**Refuge Worker / Ellesmere Port**

We are working with an established women's refuge to recruit suitably experienced Refuge Workers for one of their female-only services in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire.

Successful Refuge Worker applicants will support Women with Mental Health needs and require guidance who are supported within the service. The service itself is a secure address, it is easily accessible by bus and has free car parking for car drivers.

Your role as a Refuge Worker is to support everyday needs, activities, cooking, and assisting with the emotional needs of the women in your support.

**Hours and pay**:
We have both day and waking night positions available.

£12.88 p/h inc holiday pay

**Experience Required / Requirements**:
Support experience with at least 6 months in a similar setting is desirable.

Support Workers with at least 6 months of supporting adults or young people with challenging behaviours.

Willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS

NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care is desirable.

- Ellesmere Port, Cheshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
