We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Patient and Family Liaison Officer to join the Child & Adolescent Mental Health Inpatient team to support in ensuring effective communication of information between CAMHS Management, nursing and care staff with patients and their relatives.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

The post holder will work in close collaboration with primary and secondary care providers, families and primary givers to identify and effectively respond to the needs of young people requiring support from Tier 4 Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services.

They will act as point of contact for families and NWAS staff to ensure patients and families best interests within the service are met.

The successful post holder will have excellent interpersonal skills along with experience of working in partnership with service users and carer.

You will have a passion for improving patient care through learning from general concerns and complaints and implementation of actions to improve patient safety and experience.
