To be responsible for administering the payroll function for the company and to Support the finance department to meet deadlines and to ensure all transactions are processed in a timely and efficient manner.

**Duties**

Payroll

Ensure the monthly payroll is submitted on time and checked for both companies.

Collate and review payroll submissions from HR and managers

Complete the submission preparation spreadsheets and the ADP flexiform (Submission spreadsheet)

Ensure payments are processed for Monthly pay, Pensions and other payroll payments.

Check final reports before committing payroll.

Prepare and post the payroll journal.

Reconcile the payroll control accounts.

Prepare and post the bonus accrual journal.

Prepare and manage the absence trackers.

Liaise with HR to complete the P11D returns

Support the HR department on payroll matters.

Liaise with HR and the payroll bureau to resolve any queries.

Transactional

Support and work closely with the assistant accountant as required and directed by the plant controller.

Year end

Support the year end close and Audit for payroll matters.

**Competencies**

Payroll experience essential

Up to date with currently payroll rules and regulations.

**Salary**: £22,500.00-£24,500.00 per year
