**Channel Marketing Executive
- Retail**

**Purpose of the Role**

To be a custodian of the brand, to effectively meet our customers’ needs, and to help build a growing, profitable, sustainable Kärcher.

To support the delivery of strategically important retail channel growth drivers through effective execution of collaborative marketing activities online and instore with key Kärcher (U.K.) retailers.

**Your key responsibilities will be**:

- To take ownership of the management of in-store and online display projects for key retail accounts. Work directly with retailers and Channel Managers and be a ‘retail marketing expert’ for Kärcher, leading recommendations for effective and cost efficient collaborative, high reach, retailer marketing activities.
- Managing all retail design, production and installation agencies.
- To be the primary contact in the Retail Marketing Team for the Retail Sales Team, enabling up-to-date knowledge of retailer joint business plans, managing day to day engagement and channel marketing project planning.
- Working closely with all other functions within the Retail Marketing Team; Product Management, Media/Comms and PR, ensuring timely alignment of channel marketing strategies with wider retail marketing B2C plans.
- Upholding correct processes for every job. Ensure projects are delivered on time, with consistent updates for all internal and external stakeholders. Strive to ensure every job delivers maximum Return on Investment for Kärcher.
- Supporting the Retail Marketing Communications Manager on shopper insight projects; enabling Kärcher to understand the shopper journey. Ensure that insights are considered when designing and developing both physical and digital Point of Sale assets.
- Regularly complete competitor research and store visits - reporting on best practice, developments and inspiration.
- To ensure that all content across POS, print and digital touchpoints is category and market leading, consistent, on brand, impactful and relevant to the target audience.
- Keeping the Trade Marketing budget constantly updated, reviewed and prioritised, obtaining multiple quotes for every job - ensuring that Karcher is getting value for money at all times.
- Completing Return on Investment analysis for all major projects and selected smaller projects. Ensure that this insight is shared with the wider Retail team, AKUK and AKW colleagues.
- Working with the Retail Marketing Communications Manager to develop training tools for in store colleagues ensuring that they have the correct information and knowledge to actively sell Kärcher products.
- Keeping up to date with Industry news, attend events and contribute insights and ideas to the Marketing team.
- To take responsibility for retailer specific event coordination in conjunction with the Retail Marketing Communications Manager and wider Marketing team.
- Regularly liaise with AKW contacts; keep up to speed with central Kärcher strategy and share learnings and best practice.
- Attending any agency or retailer meetings (across the UK) required to drive effective concepts buy in and implementation with our retail partners.

**Your qualifications and experience are**:

- 5 GCSEs at Grade 9-4 (A-C), or equivalent, including Maths and English
- Degree /CIM Level 4 or more
- Experience of working in a Marketing Role
- Clear communication skills
- written and verbal
- Confident, driven and methodical individual
- Full UK Driving License
