We are looking to recruit a Stock Taker for our Chilled Plant in Airdrie. The Stock Taker role involves counting goods in within the Chill intake. All counts are then updated on our current available stock record sheets. Counts should be compared to a Jet Report which are generated from our live Nav stocks system. Any discrepancies must be investigated to get to the root cause.
- High level of numeracy and counting ability
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent punctuality and attendance
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Strong PC skills including Microsoft packages and use of spreadsheet
- Ability to investigate and problem solve
- Ability to complete detailed reports on any discrepancies found and highlight trends to department managers

**HOURS OF WORK**

Monday-Friday 1600-0030

These are the core working hours and flexibility with start and finish times is required.

**SALARY**

£13.49 per hour

**LOCATION**

Albert Bartlett, 251 Stirling Rd, Airdrie ML6 7SP.

Our story began in 1948, when Albert Bartlett started our family tradition of selling good-quality produce by setting up a beetroot-boiling operation in Coatbridge, Scotland. Nine years later, Albert’s experience and expertise helped him grow the business, and along with his two sons, Jimmy and Alex, he found a new home for their flourishing company in Airdrie, Scotland.

On that very same site, we made history when we became the first factory in Britain to pre-pack carrots in a plastic bag. Over the years, our expanding business has stayed true to Albert’s spirit of innovation and passion for quality, and we’ve built on our experience. Today, we proudly supply potatoes from our network of farmers and growers across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Jersey.
