Summary

We are creating a brand-new team within Property Services to deliver a high-quality, responsive repair and maintenance system for our customers and our void properties.

We are looking to recruit a team of Drainage Engineers to assist the Property Services Team to deliver responsive repairs to our housing stock. This team will consist of two skilled tradespersons.

**About the role**

This will be a satisfyingly broad role, stretching from delivery of scheduled programmes of maintenance as well as any reactive works that are required. This will be an addition to the existing property services team, ensuring daily activities are carried out as per instruction and with adherence to all health and safety, and safe working practices.

Operatives in this role will also have shared responsibility for the maintenance and safe storage of all associated vehicles, tools, and equipment. A driver’s license is essential for this role.

**About You**

Ideally, you will have a gained expertise over the years in domestic drainage knowledge. You’ll bring us proven experience in working with all associated High Pressure Water Jetting & drainage CCTV equipment and will have gained industry related qualifications in their safe use.

We’re looking for positive problem-solvers who can prove they are able to cultivate great working relationships, defuse difficult situations and can liaise with our residents and resolve any concerns patiently.

**Essential**
- Driving Licence (required)
- Minimum of 3 years drainage experience to include HPWJ (required)
- Experience carrying out CCTV surveys and reporting (required)
- CSCS Sewerage & Drainage Operative (required)
- Familiarity with Mini-Cam CCTV equipment (desirable)
- Utility SHEA- Drains & Sewers certification (desirable)
- Confined spaces awareness certificate (desirable)Basic understanding of wastewater treatment plants & septic tanks (desirable)
- Basic sanitary plumbing skills - toilet removal and install etc (essential)

**Additional skills & Duties**
- Unblockage of Drains and toilets
- Additional skills / duties you will be expected to carry out
- Minor dig repairs
- These may not always be drainage related.
- Soakaway replacements.
- Planned maintenance visits to sewage treatment assets.
- HPWJ hard surface cleaning, graffiti removal.
