The Dorset Breast Screening Unit (DBSU) as part of the University Hospital Dorset Trust screens approximately 43,000 women per year as part of the National Health Service Breast Screening Programme. The Trust also provides symptomatic services based at Poole and the Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospital’s. The unit is fully digital with eight mammography units (three being mobile), four having tomosynthesis.
The banding would be dependent upon training required and experience (Band 6 if qualified or 5 at trainee level - band 6 on qualification and completion of probation period where required).
