**About the position**:
We are looking for an ambitious** creative layout ninja** to join our fantastic Layout team. You will be responsible for basic setups for scenes and cameras to help achieve the client's vision. You will be working closely with the Head of Layout and support the project with your artistic insights and inventiveness. When live-action photography is involved, you will assist in recreating the set, camera moves, and actor performances to allow for seamless effects integration. You will be part of the layout team which acts as a central hub for all shot preparation to ensure continuity and camera accuracy in CG Elements. This position is a temporary hybrid/remote freelance contract via our Stockholm office.

**What you will get to do**:

- Create scenes and shots by placing characters, props and environments according to the storyboard/previz
- Assist with environment set-up for motion capture shoots
- Put the characters in key poses to define their actions and movements in the correct 3D environment
- Use your creative vision to bring the scenes alive
- Support defining camera angles and animate them, if applicable
- Execute the corrections requested by the Supervisor and the Director by showing an analytic mind
- Organize work and prepare presentation elements for approval
- Creates creative camera work for non-plate shots and camera takeover shots; originate entirely CG camera animation (i.e. CG camera work)

**What you bring**:

- Some experience in a film production environment / TV productions or visual effects
- Have a good eye for image composition (direction) and basic knowledge of cameras
- Good knowledge of Cinematography, Shot Continuity and Filmography
- A strong passion for storytelling
- Willingness to learn new tools
- Excellent skills in Maya
- Be comfortable within a LINUX / UNIX environment
- Fluent in English

**Nice to have**:

- Experience working with Motion builder is a plus
- Knowledge of Houdini & Blender a plus
- An understanding of Unreal 5 and Real Time engines is an advantage
