Stocker

**Stock Controller Wanted**:
**Location**:Grimsby

**Pay**:£12.52

**Shifts**:4 on 4 off

**Time**:6:00am-18:00pm

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Stock controller to join our team. As a Stock controller, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, organizing merchandise, and ensuring efficient product flow within the warehouse. This is a vital role in our supply chain operations, and we are looking for someone who can analyze data, utilize various systems, and contribute to the overall success of our warehouse.

**Responsibilities**:

- Organize and stock merchandise on shelves and racks
- Monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed
- Collaborate with the purchasing team to forecast demand and ensure adequate stock levels
- Perform data mining and analysis to identify trends
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Assist with order picking, packing, and shipping as necessary
- Acitvely contribute towards stock checks
- Spend time in chiller physically checking and recording stocks.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a warehouse or stocker role preferred
- Familiarity with 3PL (third-party logistics) operations is a plus
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar software
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation is a bonus
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to negotiate with suppliers for favorable pricing and terms
