Insight Specialist Behavioural Service Ltd is a service providing person-centred support to adults aged with learning disabilities (Intellectual & neurological disabilities), complex needs and additional behaviours which challenge community services. **Support Worker Job Role**

The role of a Support Worker/ Care Assistant is to deliver person
- centred support to each individual, promoting independence, and helping to achieve goals and aspirations. We need staff who are reliable, respectful & compassionate. A typical day involves:

- Assisting service users with their care needs, including helping to administer medication & supporting to appointments.
- Teaching essential life skills.
- Completing detailed reports/ documentation.
- Preparing meals which are eaten together in a home environment.
- Assisting with tasks that promote healthy living, including keeping the home clean and tidy.

You could become a member of our friendly teams, helping to support our service users with activities they like to enjoy such as shopping, cinema, bowling, college, horse riding, walks, fishing, creative activities & many more Their needs and wants are at the heart of everything we do.

Permanent day Support Worker Vacancies available at sites in:

- Sittingbourne location (x2 on London Road ME10 1QA, & x1 in Newington ME9 8NE)
- Teynham, London Road
- ME9 9QW
- Minster-on Sea
- ME12 3QP

Hours are worked in accordance with a 2- weekly rota rota’d between Monday-Sunday with one weekend off in two, inclusive of the following shifts:

- Early shift (8:00am
- 3:30pm)
- Late shift (3:00pm
- 10:30pm),
- Long Day 1 (8:00am
- 8:00pm)
- Long Day 2 (10:30am
- 10:30pm)
- Full time contracts available between _**37.5 hours**_ _to _**48 hours **_per week
- Salary ranges from £22,483.50- £28,778.88_
- Part time contracts available between _**22.5 hours**_ _to _**36 hours per**_ _week - Salary ranges from £13,490.10- £21,584.16_

Hourly rate: £11.53 per hour

The position also involves sleep in duties which are undertaken fairly across the team when required, but no more than one per week. Sleep in duty hours paid at NMW (approx. £108 per sleep).

Holding a full driving licence is an advantage, but not essential.
