**This is a part time, 3 days a week role: Tuesday to Thursday**

The office runner will provide support to the Facilities Team and the Office Manager in particular to ensure a smooth running of the office at all times. They will assist in ensuring a creative, enjoyable and functional working environment for our employees and looking after the guest experience. The Office runner is pivotal in making sure that the office environment is running smoothly and that includes everything from toilet checks to arranging staff events. No two days are the same and you will be on your feet and busy each day.

RESPONSIBILITIES

OFFICE SUPPORT
- Be responsible for the upkeep of the reception including the management of post/couriers
- Keep Post-room clear & tidy on a daily basis
- Weekly maintenance of the Post-room space / Sort out parcels within post-room with a specific system
- Deliver parcels directly to individuals using envoy on a daily basis
- Help the Office manager set up of the office (inc. meeting rooms) and breakfast for our office-based colleagues each morning, making sure that the office is ready for when they arrive
- Daily walk around with Office Specialist to assess any small work to be done & priorities own tasks
- Weekly Maintenance walk around and report any issues to Office Specialist
- Ensure meeting rooms are on brand, kit is working and they look well presented at all times
- Daily check of TV screens & speakers around the building to ensure content is playing - report back to Office Manager if not
- Assist Office Manager in the continuous upkeep and presentation of the office
- Daily walk around to tidy & rearrange the furniture back to their storage when required
- Monitor all office supplies and report to Office Specialist
- Manage and help look after the office plants
- Liaise with the cleaning company to ensure the reception area and outside entrance area are clean and tidied at all times
- Report any building faults including Health and Safety or mechanical issues to the Facilities Team
- Accompanying Contractors on site & provide keys
- Report to Office Specialist any ad-hoc request coming from internal stakeholder
- Supply as agreed with Office Specialist necessary ad hoc support to IT, People Team, Personal & Executive Assistant, Sales, Marketing, etc.
- Setting up desks for new starters or people moving desks
- Set up and set down of all furniture & equipment for internal events and meetings as instructed by Office Specialist
- Ensure fridges are filled with Red Bull
- Collecting and setting out breakfast supplies

H&S SUPPORT
- Support fire tests - Tuesday 10am
- Check fire doors are closed everyday
- Check fire extinguishers are in the right place
- Door guards operational
- Ensure floor and hallways clear of boxes & trip hazards
- Ensure no trailing wires
- Ensure all plugs are switched off when not in use

EXPERIENCE NEEDED

Someone with a 'can do' helpful attitude who is excited to be part of a close knit team

Good IT knowledge is desirable as you maybe asked to troubleshoot for meetings

Fluent in English

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £13.46 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (required)

**Experience**:

- Customer service: 2 years (required)
- Administrative experience: 2 years (required)
