**Northern Ireland Housing Executive - Handyperson - Newtownabbey**

**About the role**:

- **Hourly Rate**:£12.18 ph
- **Location**: Newtownabbey
- **Hours of Work**:37 hrs per week, 8.30 am - 4.30 pm Monday to Friday
- **Holidays**: 37 days pro rata
- **Duration**:Temporary, ongoing

**Duties**:

- Able to carry out roof-work repairs (tiles and chimney), patching of plaster and brickwork, concrete paths and erecting metal handrails, sewer repairs, flagging and other general labouring tasks.

**Criteria**:

- 1 year’s relevant experience in a similar role i.e. Handyperson/ Labourer or equivalent.
- A full current driving licence, with C1 category, and access to a form of transport essential.
- _As part of the reference checking and vetting process for this position you will be requested to undertake a Basic AccessNI Disclosure. Having a criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining a position. _
