Are you an immediately available Senior Buyer looking for your next contract position?
A business based in near Castle Donington are looking for a Senior Buyer to come into their team on a 3-month contract.
You’ll be responsible for supporting the buying team and ensuring the team is operating to a high level.
Day to day, you’ll be;
Managing the supply base to ensure you get the best supply in terms of price, quality and delivery
Work together with the Engineering & Production team to identify appropriate suppliers
Monitor purchase orders and ensure deliveries arrive on time, and inform production on unrecoverable delays
You’ll need to be proactive in this role, with the company looking for someone who can come in and hit the ground running.
The role will need you to be in office 5 days a week.
