We are currently recruiting a Wedding Co-ordinator for an outstanding venue in the Tadcaster area.

We are looking for a Wedding Co-ordinator who will get a real kick out of planning and coordinating weddings held at the property from the point of initial enquiry, show-rounds and planning, all the way through to execution and aftercare, all whilst ensuring that standards are maintained at the highest level

You will need to be very organised, ensure you fully understand the needs of your clients, managing their expectations and enjoy the buzz of coordinating the wedding, creating excitement for your clients as a strong representative for the business.

Areas of Responsibility

This role is also operational ensuring the smooth delivery of the event on the day.

You will need to have a positive can-do attitude and an ability to identify and work to clear priorities and manage your time effectively.

Computer literate with proven knowledge of events (minimum 1 year) is a must for this key role.

You will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer experience and truly care about delighting customers, using your skills to adapt and connect to their needs and uniqueness.

You will be a great listener able to show empathy and understanding and always prepared to ‘go the extra mile’ in delivering support on time and to the highest standard. You will be a great communicator, with the ability to call customers to deal with enquiries and requests quickly and efficiently. Summary of Responsibilities:
Working closely with the Operations Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Creating event proposals, which fit the client’s requirements, budgets, and presenting proposals in a timely manner.
- Establish and maintain rapport with guests and maintains good customer relationship throughout.
- Planning event aspects from initial enquiry to completion.
- Delegating event-planning tasks to other staff members where necessary
- Demonstrating to clients a strong knowledge of this venues unique offering and taking clients on show rounds.
- Reconciling invoices in a timely manner, in preparation for payment.
- Welcoming guests, directing event set-up, communicating with staff to ensure the smooth running of the event this can and will include being operational on the day
- Consistently offer professional, engaging, and friendly service for all guests and staff throughout the venue
- Works in full cooperation with other departments to make sure the guest is of the utmost priority.
- All other reasonable duties as assigned Qualifications - Previous event experience in the hospitality industry is required for this role
- Sales and Marketing experience - Computer literate
- Excellent written and verbal communication.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
