Bookkeeper/Administrator - 8 months Maternity Cover

We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper/Administrator for maternity cover.

The role is based at our Bow Office, 3-4 days a week, 9am to 5pm, remote working will not be available for this role.

£14.00 to £16.50 Dependant on experience

Start date - A.S.A.P

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

- Manage accounts payable and ensure timely payment of invoices
- Prepare financial reports and statements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Process timesheets and liaise with external accountant
- Utilise accounting software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks to perform daily tasks
- Liaising with director and other team members effectively.
- Assisting with procurement, and assisting other departments when required
- Experience with CIS scheme, collating information for external accountant for submission on monthly basis.
- Preparing invoices for VAT submission.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software, specifically Xero
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with CIS is preferred
