We are looking for a florist with 5 years’ experience to join our award-winning business, you will play a vital role in creating beautiful and aesthetically pleasing arrangements using plants and flowers. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision and preferences, translating them into stunning floral designs for various occasions. Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications for this role:
**Responsibilities**:

- **Arranging and Designing Floral Creations**:

- Create captivating flower arrangements, bouquets, and centrepieces for customers, events, weddings, and other special occasions.
- Use artistic skills to combine different flowers, foliage, and other elements harmoniously.
- **Customer Interaction and Service**:

- Advise customers on floral options based on their budgets, preferences, and event themes.
- Educate clients about the meanings and traditions associated with specific flowers used in arrangements.
- **Orders & Deliveries**:

- Take orders from customers and arrange timely deliveries of floral arrangements.
- Set up displays for businesses or events, ensuring they are visually appealing.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Purchase and care for flowers, greenery, and other foliage required for future arrangements.
- Manage floral inventories efficiently.
- **Quality Control and Presentation**:

- Prune flowers periodically to maintain freshness and quality.
- Pack and protect arrangements for safe transport.

**Qualifications**:
Successful Florists possess a blend of creative talent and administrative skills:

- Understand botany and how various plants and flowers work together when arranged.
- Familiarity with plant and flower traditions and their meanings.
- Ability to create large floral arrangements for weddings, parties, and other venues.
- Attention to detail to ensure each arrangement fits within budget and meets client expectations.
- Listen to clients’ preferences and convey suitable options.
- Coordinate with customers, vendors, and colleagues.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: From £12.00 per hour
