We are currently seeking a Cleaner to maintain high levels of cleanliness within our practice. You will need to be proactive, use your own initiative and follow Health & Safety, COSHH and all relevant regulations.

We are located in Crewkerne and have onsite parking.

As our Dental Practice Cleaner, you will play a key role in keeping our practice compliant, and offering our dentists, staff and patients a safe, clean space to conduct and receive treatments.

You will be expected to set the highest standards for our team and patients.

**Key responsibilities and codes**:

- Cleaning of designated areas.
- Dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and emptying trash bins.
- Working to the cleaning standards of a dental practice.
- Following Health & Safety ,COSHH and all relevant and new regulations.
- Maintaining full accurate cleaning records - daily, weekly, monthly, six monthly and annually.
- Understand and implement the National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness 2007 and 2021 and the National Colour Coding Scheme.
- Working to Infection Control measures.
- Care of the cleaning equipment.
- Understanding and assurance of Personal Protective Equipment.
- Using and handling electrical equipment.
- Responsibility of lone worker policy and risk assessment.
- Waste management (not handling hazardous or sharp waste).
- Understanding confidentiality.
- Carrying out any other reasonable management requests.
- Keyholder position.

**Key skills and experience**:

- Previous cleaning experience in a similar role would be desirable.
- Understanding of COSHH regulations is desirable although full training can be given.
- High attention to detail.
- Reliable with excellent timekeeping.
- Ability to work independently.
- DBS clearance for the role will be required and arranged.

Pay rate: £12 per hour.

Working hours:
Monday to Thursday: 6pm - 9pm

Friday: 5pm - 10pm

Alternate Saturdays 5pm to 10pm or any time on the Sunday of our working Saturday week.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.00 per hour
