We are looking for an **Improvement Lead **to be based in Crewe, alternatively in Carrington or Worcester. Reporting to the UKIN & Israel Industrial Gases Engineering Manager, you will play an important role in moving forward our improvement projects. You will primarily be focused on addressing cost reduction, process improvement and maintenance support projects, covering everything from customer engineering projects, maintenance and warehouses. In this individual contributor role, you will interface with all levels of the organisation.

Success in this position is dependent on excellent interpersonal skills, strong project management, a technical background, a knowledge of Lean Six Sigma improvement techniques and a practical approach to delivering results with speed and simplicity.

**As the Improvement Lead, you will**:

- Reduce maintenance costs and in turn contribute towards achievement of the productivity commitment
- Evaluate technical solutions and understand the engineering/operational impacts for projects
- Execute multiple Lean Six Sigma projects each year to achieve this; along with ensuring the implementation

and execution of management controls to ensure the delivery of benefits are sustained
- Develop the maintenance and CE warehouses improvement plan

**As the Improvement Lead, you will have**:

- Bachelor’s degree, ideally with any of the following disciplines: Engineering; Business; Mathematics or with equivalent operational professional experience
- LSS Green / Yellow Belt certification
- Experience in an operations/maintenance/field service environment
- Strong influencing, coaching, communication and facilitative skills
- Ability to bring teams together to achieve targets and goals
- A dedicated and driven approach & be committed to getting it right with a never-ending desire to learn, improve & contribute
