We're looking for an Asset Care Engineer to become a part of our team in Kirkby working on a day shift Monday - Friday. Are you passionate about moving things forward, being hands-on to find solutions, and supporting a team that crafts quality dairy products?

Kirkby is the home of our butters and spreads and oils including Utterly Butterly, Clover, Countrylife and Willow as well as Frylight, the 1 calorie cooking spray.

The site is now going through a period of growth and is showing some very strong performances across all the KPI's. Kirkby's main asset is its people and we invest heavily in training and development

**HOW YOU WILL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER...**
- Reporting to the Asset Care Lead the job holder will provide asset care measurement, interpretation and improvement recommendations based on captured field data.
- Implementing the asset care strategy to meet the day-to-day and long term goals of the organisation in a safe and sustainable manner.
- Ensuring adherence to all food safety standards, GMP and SSOW whilst working.
- Providing out of hours support as may be required to manage site support.
- Improving Asset Care standards across the department and ensure that the site is compliant.

**YOU ARE BEST SUITED TO THE ROLE IF YOU...**
- Are a Time served Apprenticeship, City & Guilds or HNC.
- Have minimum of 1 year of work experience in utilities and facilities
- Are able to demonstrate practical engineering skills and enjoy a hands-on approach.
- Have an understanding of current relevant legislation.
- Have excellent knowledge of utilities plant and equipment maintenance procedures and routines.
