As a result of continued success andan ongoing programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Maintenance Engineer to complement their established and professional Corby based team.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an enthusiastic Controls Maintenance Engineer to provide a comprehensive maintenance, breakdown, and repair service on a range of equipment associated with a busy automated warehousing and distribution centre environment,working on a shift basis (**6.30am to 2pm and 2pm to 9.30pm Monday to Friday each week**) and providing Front-to-end support and management of a range of conveyor technical issues.

You will additionally be responsible for the identification of opportunities, development of proposals, and implementation of solutions that deliver tangible improvements to operations and the facilities departments, as well as the management of contractors,suppliers and internal resources, being responsible for the allocation of works, preparation of required specifications and ensuring the contractor delivers to the agreed specification whilst complying at all time to appropriate Health & Safety guidelines,policies, legislation and requirements.

With excellent communication skills at all levels and the ability to liaise effectively with various external and internal Operations, Facilities and Projects teams, you will be responsible for the coaching, training and mentoring of team members to ensurebest practice is maintained throughout within the Facilities department.

You will provide a consistently quick incident response to Operations related issues; effecting repairs or making adjustments to ensure the maximum uptime, safety and operating efficiency of the equipment and mínimal downtimes, taking ownership of associatedworkshop and administration activities to support this and including spares availability, continuous improvement of procedures and the sourcing of necessary items as required.

You will be highly computer literate with knowledge of MS Office and Planned Preventative Maintenance Systems with demonstrable Electrical and/or Control experience gained within a logistics or manufacturing environment, and essentially possessing experienceof working within the pressures associated within a time critical, distribution/operational/manufacturing environment.
