Premier Education are working collaboratively with primary schools to deliver exceptional before and after school care that is innovative, inspiring and above all a safe environment for all in our care. Your role will be to provide activities in a safe, secure, and fun environment, providing an outstanding service for busy parents.

Premier Education successfully run full Wrap Around provisions in primary schools in the Milton Keynes area. Our Premier Wrap Around settings are Ofsted registered and can provide high quality out of school care for the parents. With this in mind, we are looking for an outstanding applicant to support our setting at Whaddon Church of England School, MK17 0LS.

**Main duties include**:

- Assist with the preparation and delivery of quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment.
- Providing comprehensive care for the children, including greeting them after school and delivering them safely to parents or careers at the end of the day.
- Setting up the play space including moving furniture and play equipment.
- Providing refreshments and ensuring that hygiene, health and safety standards are met.
- Administering first aid when necessary.
- Encouraging parental involvement in the club.
- Facilitating good communication with all members of the organisation, parents, and schools.
- Undertaking appropriate and relevant training.
- Working within the framework of the club’s policies and procedures.
- Using creativity and imagination to deliver innovative activities for children.

**Hours**
- Breakfast Club: 7:30am-9am (Monday - Friday)
- Care Club: 2:45pm-5pm (Monday - Friday)

**Person specification**

**Essential qualities**
- A passion for working with children
- Ability to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Good communication skills
- Able to work as part of a team
- Outstanding punctuality and attendance

**Desirable qualities**
- Appropriate Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare.
- Experience of working within a play-based setting.
- Competent in using IT to support play and club administration.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Appropriate child protection training.
- Current Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
- Food Hygiene Certificate.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 18 per week

**Salary**: £9.80-£13.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
