Formulation Scientist

**JOB - Formulation Scientist / Chemist**LOCATION - Slough**TERM- Permanent**SALARY - £30,000 - £55,000 per annum.**
We are looking for a Formulation Scientist or Chemist on a permanent basis in the Slough area with experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. Your main duties will be managing the scalability of sample-based formulations to mass scale production.**The Formulation Scientist / Chemist will ideally have the following attributes**:

- Qualified in Pharmaceutical / Chemistry ideally Degree OR Qualified by experience.
- Previous experience working in a similar Formulation or Scientist position.
- Good Knowledge of scalability factors when mass producing.
- Able to communicate with other members and departments of the business.
- Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Have previous experience working in a similar manufacturing environment.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Experience within oral dosage manufacturing - advantageous

**The Formulation Scientist / Chemist role will involve**:

- Managing the scalability formulation from sample to mass scale production.
- Liaising with the manufacturing teams to tackle any production issues.
- Assist with feasibility evaluation of new products.
- Ensure validations of processes are validations.
