**Job Summary**:
We are seeking an experienced, skilled and passionate Cook to join our team at **Blossoms on the Chase Day Nursery**. We are a private day nursery, based in the heart of Cannock.As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Your culinary expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the overall dining experience for our customers.

**Shift Pattern Monday-Friday 9.00am-3.00pm - 30 hours per week**

**Duties**:

- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and menu specifications
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Collaborate with management to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the Kitchen Manager
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working in a kitchen or culinary environment is essential
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Experience in an early years, nursery, or school setting is preferred
