Bottling Hall Scheduler

This Role

Deliver excellent customer service by working across the CBL manufacturing supply chain, including internal stakeholders, suppliers and third parties, to ensure deliveries to the site are scheduled and available to meet the supply plan.

Your Unique Contribution
- Key Accountabilities
- Deliver excellent customer service, proactively resolving and escalating issues as appropriate.
- Ensure process and procedures are adhered to and daily controls are actioned.
- Ensure E1 transactions are logical and aligned to business needs.
- Support any investigation associated with a quality issue or complaint.
- Support NPD and product Change Requests by ensuring items are ordered within the given timeline
- Responsibilities
- Schedule the Materials Plan for delivery and secure agreement from Dry Goods team.
- Communicate required capacity for operational stock holding to Dry Goods Team.
- Focus on the aligned production hall and ensure space and line movement is accommodated.
- Attend daily production meetings for the hall. Anticipate risks for the week and confirm schedule.
- Work with Dry Goods team to understand the available capacity for the hall by commodity and embed a planning and capacity management process.
- Highlight opportunities for Kanban to the Materials Planner.
- Use the DIR process to manage supplier performance, developing a way of capturing costs and feeding back accountability.
- Hold weekly review meeting with dry goods team to sign off the schedule and review the previous week in relation to line movement / number of planned changes, delivery failures, capacity risks, stock utilisation.
- Drive systems improvement initiatives to automate scheduling process and remove nonvalue adding tasks.
- Communicate back to the Material Planner where internal stock adjustments or quality issues require an adjustment to the materials plan.
- Be an advocate for change and drive supply chain strategy.
- Identify, populate, and maintain materials capacity fields.
- 360-degree communication with partner teams.
- Engage positively in the CBL personal and professional development process, identifying development themes and working to continuously improve.

Your Blend of Talent
- Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

- 2-5 years’ experience in transactional Supply Chain and Manufacturing functions, ideally within the Drinks industry or FMCG sector.
- Understanding of cross-functional supply chain processes, including suppliers and compliance (HMRC).
- Understanding of materials supply chain for materials typically used within the drinks industry.
- Sound knowledge of E1 or ERP system transactions relevant to planning roles.
- Knowledge of logistics, bottling production processes, planning cycles and principles, material planning processes and constraints.
- A clean driving license.
- Advanced user of Excel and other Microsoft packages.
- An understanding of Procurement and Vendor Quality Management processes and how this drives continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ability to think logically with a focused approach, numeracy skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Procedure driven, logical with a low appetite for risk.
- Professional and effective communicator and able to positively influence project teams, suppliers and third parties.
- Flexible approach and willing to adapt
- Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
- Enthusiastic, reliable, shows initiative and customer focused.
