Psychological Therapist

The post holder will work within the Psychology team of North Tyneside Talking Therapies. The Service is an integrated mental health service and consists of the national NHS Talking Therapies for anxiety and depression programme, together with Counselling, Psychology and Employment Support. To be responsible for providing and promoting the psychological health and wellbeing of clients in our psychology team within North Tyneside Talking Therapies. The post holder will provide therapy interventions to patients with a range of complex mental health disorders and provide clinical supervision to other psychological therapists.

To role model compassionate and inclusive leadership in order to shape thecreation of a collective leadership culture within the trust. This means demonstrating a consistent leadership style which (a) engages, enables and empowers others (b) uses coaching to promote ownership of learning and quality improvement and (c) facilitates team working and collaboration within teams / departments and across organisational boundaries.
