Academics are currently seeking a lead mathematics teacher to join a fantastic Autism Specialist School in Colchester

Immediate start - Permeant

You will be someone who can think outside the box and is adaptable dependant on the class, making creative lessons for students - ideally you will have recent experience in a UK school.

The School:
A specialist co-educational school for children and young people with autism and additional complex needs, age 3 -19 years. Established in 1977, the School are experienced and successful in meeting the needs of students with wide-ranging strengths and needs,providing a nurturing environment where students are able to thrive and grow in independence and self-esteem.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will be:

- Ensuring that the teaching area is organized appropriately to provide a safe and tidy.
- Planning and delivering an appropriate curriculum based on individual needs.
- Teaching Maths to a high standard following current curriculum.
- Designing, managing and enhancing the curriculum, providing coaching to staff when required
- Working with department leader to manage resources and budget
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with students.

To be considered for this role you MUST have relevant experience and qualifications.
