**Payroll Assistant - 35 hours per week - Monday to Friday**

**What are we looking for?**

We are looking for an enthusiastic Payroll Assistant to join our Payroll Team. You will be responsible for assisting the payroll department with administrative duties and ensuring accuracy in all tasks completed. The role can be home based with travel to one of our offices a couple of times a week. Or can be based in our Dundee, Perth, Crieff, Forfar, Montrose or Brechin Office full time.

**What are the duties and responsibilities?**
- To process payroll on a weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly, monthly and annual basis.
- To exchange and collate all relevant payroll information from each client in a complete and secure manner.
- Processing and payment of workplace pension contributions under the regulatory framework.
- To produce payroll reports and payslips.
- A secure exchange of payroll information to clients whilst allowing sufficient time to make relevant payments.
- Processing employee payments and PAYE payments where necessary.
- Monthly and quarterly reporting of PAYE liability to clients.
- Liaising with clients on all aspects of payroll to ensure accuracy of data produced.
- Responding in a timely manner to any client requests.
- Assisting the rest of the payroll team when required.

- Completes all assigned tasks to the expected standard by the agreed deadline.
