GSL Education are currently recruiting for
**SEN Care Assistants **to work in a specialist school for children and young people aged 4-19 year with physical disabilities, complex medical needs, and associated learning difficulties such as speech and communication.
**It is not essential to have experience since training can be provided.**

As an
**SEN Care Assistant, **you will have to assist with students’ daily activities, Personal Care and, Moving and Handling both within the school and their residential service.

The school offers a collaborative and amiable working environment as well as the chance to inspire, motivate and make a positive impact, whilst supporting young pupils.

If you have a background within care this could be an excellent opportunity for you to develop your skills into the education sector.

We have a number of vacancies at the moment, to support students at their residential site as well as the school the following support:

- School day: 8:30am-16:00 Mon-Thurs & 14:00 finish on a Friday
- Morning Routine & TA Support: Tuesdays
- Thursdays 7:00-16:00
- After School Activities: Monday
- Friday 12:30-21:30 or 16:00-22:00.
- Potentially long days (7:00-21:30) available.

**Essential requirements to work as an SEN Care Assistant** ;
- Must have practical Moving and Handling training
- Must have the right to work in the UK
- Must have a valid driving license and be able to drive to the location of the school
- Good standard of English, verbally and written
- A warm, compassionate, nurturing, and caring nature
- Ability to work with understanding, tact and patience
