Lead the implementation of relevant objectives within the LIMS Programme through the design and delivery of bespoke interventions within service areas, covering all aspects of the LIMS Programme including diagnostic, delivery, feedback, evaluation. To provide advice and guidance regarding trust policies and HRM best practice throughout the LIMS programme. With support from the LIMS Project Manager, manage the delivery of the LIMS testing programme using PRINCE2 project management methodology and tools to plan, control, co-ordinate, monitor and deliver projects within planned timescales using agreed resources so as to ensure a successful outcome in line with Trust requirements. Provide advice and guidance to groups and individuals as required (including managers and leaders across the Trust ensuring credibility and professional standards are maintained).

Establish the LIMS Programme testing network, providing supervision support and CPD development to staff working as testers, as well as ensuring effective systems are in place to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of testing as a development tool. Support the Project Manager to design, deliver and lead a range of bespoke testing interventions and appropriate evaluation mechanisms designed to ensure successful delivery of the LIMS Programme and business as usual. Develop and implement metrics to measure the impact of the LIMS implementation on business operations. Analysing the outcomes of testing documentation, measuring the impact and reporting progress to the Board.

Manage and/or contribute to financial performance and target delivery as agreed within the LIMS Programme. Lead by action and inspire others acting as role model, demonstrating the leadership behaviours and values identified by the Trust Communicate positively and effectively to overcome barriers to organisational and inter-organisational change, through coaching and mentoring of workstream members and facilitating relevant activities with staff groups as part of the agreed LIMS Programme. Actively give and receive feedback in a constructive manner. The vision of the Cerner 5LIMS project will feature clearly and consistently throughout the LIMS programme and the postholder will be responsible for ensuring that the vision is embedded into workstream activity The post holder has a lead responsibility in delivering the following key result areas: Planning a series of complex testing programmes across services Support leaders and managers in ensuring their teams are ready for the LIMS Go Live phase.

To be Lead Testing Specialist on the LIMS Programme where staff engagement, leadership and workstream activities are essential. Develop formal communication links with the project leadership community and agree testing systems To manage resource pertinent to the LIMS Programme. To promote the involvement of a range of stakeholders in the development of the LIMS Programme. Contribute to the development of improvement strategies and business as usual.

Develop and implement policies and procedures to support testing as appropriate. Make decisions on service issues where there is conflicting advice between service practitioners Any other duties commensurate with Band. Any other duties as required by the post holders line manager The post holder will support the Regional LIMS PMO Manager and Programme Manager (LIMS) in meeting the LIMS Programmes objectives. The post will involve close liaison with a range of stakeholders
