**At Prestwick Service Centre we are specialists in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of aircraft engine nacelles systems and engine components. An opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Inspector to work within our Components Business Unit.**:
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- ** Inspection, Testing, Repair and Assembly of wire harnesses**:
- ** Working to manufacturers specifications/blueprints/schematics and manuals**:
- ** Diagnostics and trouble-shooting faults**:
- ** Compilation of Inspection/Repair Reports**:
- ** Experience in the use of heat shrink materials**:
**Position Requirements**:
**Essentials**:
- **Time served in a relevant discipline (with trade papers or an equivalent qualification i.e. SVQ Level 3)**:
- ** Compliance with all Collins Aerospace policies and procedures inclusive of EH&S, Code of Ethics, Intellectual Property and ITC requirements**:
**Desirable**:
- ** Previous experience in the aviation environment, specific to maintenance repair and overhaul**:
- ** Knowledge of Aircraft technical manuals and drawings**:
- ** SAP experience would be advantageous although not essential**:
- ** An understanding of the principles of Lean/Continuous Improvement would be advantageous.**:
